After 24 years of working in strategic planning and asset management at Union Pacific Railroad, Dr. David Levy entered academia, teaching at Bellevue University and is an adjunct at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and has previously taught at Creighton University as an adjunct. Dr. Levy is the Winner of the Gold Award for Excellence in Teaching Online from the United States Distance Learning Association, he earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, his master's degree and Ph.D. from Purdue University in Industrial Engineering.

Dr. Levy's resume now includes the title Certified Emergenetics Associate. He wanted to obtain his certification in Emergenetics to learn more about how he could use the Emergenetics Profile in his college level teaching as well as support Bellevue's Human Capital research initiative.
